Peter Nero and the Philly Pops return to the Patriots Theater at the Trenton War Memorial on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 8 p.m. By popular demand, they
return with their signature show, an all new “Broadway Showstoppers”, combining Broadway’s brightest stars with the magic of the Philly Pops. Two-time Grammy Award-winning pianist Peter Nero welcomes Debbie Gravitte, Sal Viviano and Lisa Vroman for this special concert. Ms. Gravitte won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in JEROME ROBBIN’S BROADWAY, along with a Drama Desk Award Nomination and New York Showstopper Award. She has appeared in several TV shows, has toured with numerous orchestras and recently released her latest CD, DEFYING GRAVITY. Mr. Viviano made his Broadway debut in THE THREE MUSKATEERS, and most recently starred as Billy Flynn in CHICAGO. Sal has appeared in several TV shows and movies, and as a Concert Artist, performed with nearly 100 Orchestras. His solo CD, THE STANDARDS OF LOVE, was recently released. Lisa Vroman, appeared with Peter Nero and
the Philly Pops in 2007 and is best known for her role as Christine in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. She has performed in numerous shows and with many orchestras and has sung for Queen Elizabeth, former President Bill Clinton and former Vice President Al Gore.
The proceeds of this concert will benefit The Foundation of Morris Hall/St. Lawrence, Inc. The mission of the Foundation is to provide dollars towards delivering quality healthcare for uninsured patients and indigent residents at Morris Hall and St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center. It also provides medical equipment for patients and residents that is not reimbursed by healthcare insurance. The Foundation also promotes safety education and injury prevention programs in the community for children and their caretakers.
