St. Lawrence, which has been treating men and women with
head injuries for over 30 years, provides an optimal environment
for recovery. Our highly-trained and experienced doctors,
therapists and psychologists plan and implement a medically-sound
and cost-effective rehabilitation program that is specific to each
patient. We are well known for providing an excellent environment
for therapy and recovery, and for supporting the patient and their
families with education and case management.
Our program is distinguished in the field by its strong cognitive
orientation. This cognitive emphasis reflects our belief that it is
impossible to separate cognition, or thinking, from overall
functioning. All of our resources are directed toward increasing
your strengths and reducing impairments and disabilities in these
two key areas: cognition and mobility.
We offer Outpatient Services for Rancho Level VI - VIII patients with
a range of services – from intensive, comprehensive to singular
therapies – are available for those recovering from brain injuries.
All are designed to assist patients with ongoing life skills, training
and adaptive techniques that enhance independence. Local
transportation is available.
